
Jayson A. Hymes, MD, MPH, FACPM
Jayson A. Hymes, MD, MPH, FACPM is the Medical Director of Conservative Care Specialists Medical Group, Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health. He completed his post graduate training at the Harvard Medical Associated Hospitals and the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology with further qualifications in Pain Management, the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Hymes is also a Fellow of the American College of Pain Medicine, a Qualified Medical Evaluator and a Medical Review Officer (Stage I).
Dr. Hymes was an Assistant Professor at Emory University Medical School in Atlanta, Georgia, then the co-director of the Pain Center at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He has practiced only in Pain Medicine and Addiction Medicine for over 17 years. He is a member of the American Pain Society, the International Association for the Study of Pain, the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the International Neuromodulation Society and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
The author of numerous articles and chapters, Dr. Hymes has been an advisor to the Medical Board of California, The California Narcotics Officers Association and the Executive Office of the President of the United States (Office of National Drug Control Policy). He is an internationally known and respected clinician and researcher and is a popular speaker in his field.

Gerald Chatman, PA-C
Gerald Chatman, PA-C is a graduate of Charles Drew Postgraduate Medical School, Physician Assistant Program. Mr. Chatman's career includes work as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA) and as an Industrial Medicine PA. Mr. Chatman's background includes experience in Respiratory Therapy as a Certified Technician as well as work as a U.S. Army Combat Medic at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Bal S. Grewal, Ph.D., QME, FBPsS, MBBS
Dr. Grewal specializes in the psychological treatment for chronic pain and emotional disorders. Along with his post- doctoral qualifications in psychiatry, he possesses a doctorate in clinical psychology and neuropsychology. His many certifications include: diploma for psychiatrists in training, diploma in 20th century medicine, Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists, Diplomate of the American Board of Disability Consultants, member American Academy of Pain Management, member Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery and certification as a Qualified Medical Evaluator by the State of California.
Dr. Grewal is the Executive Director for the Comprehensive Pain Management Center at Henry Mayo Hospital campus, Valencia. He is the former executive director of the Pain management center at Encino Hospital and former medical director of the pain program at Hollywood Community Hospital. Dr. Grewal has provided professional services for the Chemical Dependency Unit of Hollywood Community Hospital, Chemical Dependency unit at Brotman Medical Center, and the Dual Diagnosis Program at Manor West Hospital in Los Angeles. He continues to be part of the multidisciplinary treatment team for the Pain Center at Sherman Oaks Hospital.
Dr. Grewal is a pain management treatment specialist. His expertise includes QME and AME exams, psychological evaluations, and psychiatric clearance for implantable devices such as morphine pumps and Spinal Cord stimulators. He also provides clearance for weight control and orthopedic surgery (fusion with implantable devices, rods, keys, screws and plates etc.) including WC defense and applicant evaluation and treatment for patients with acute and chronic pain with orthopedic injuries.
Dr. Grewal has extensive and wide ranging clinical experience and skills for assessing and treating a broad spectrum of psychological and psychiatric disorders including organic mental disorders, somatoform disorders, affective and anxiety disorders as well as psychotic and personality disorders. He is regarded an expert in the assessment and interpretation of personality testing, psychometric testing and neuro-psychological testing. His specialties also include clinical hypnosis, psychotherapy and biofeedback. He has also published extensively; over 30 publications in assessment, diagnosis
and treatment.
