More than dealing with Pain
Dr. Hymes was an Assistant Professor at Emory University Medical School in Atlanta, Georgia, founder of its pain center then the co-director of the Pain Center at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is a member of the American Pain Society, the International Association for the Study of Pain, the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the International Neuromodulation Society and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
He is also a fellow of the American society of addiction medicine, and currently is the Director of both a residential drug treatment facility and an intensive outpatient drug treatment program.
In addition to office-based services which include progressive drug weans drug conversion and detoxification, oral and injection therapy, or maintenance (if required), Dr. Hymes works in conjunction with both a residential treatment facility, as well as an intensive outpatient treatment program (IOP) that combine both medical, cognitive behavioral, and group/individual therapy.
